Robert Flintoff
Background
- After gaining a BA in Management Science (Business Studies) from the University of Warwick in 1975, Robert qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in 1979. Robert worked at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells for five years as an accountant before becoming European Financial Controller at Geac Computers.
- Robert has floated a number of companies, restructured tax operations, opened up new markets and territories and held senior positions at several multinational organisations. He held the position of Vice President International Finance for BMC Software in 1996 before becoming Vice President for Peregrine Systems. Here he grew the company by twenty-five times to a turnover of $600m, responsible for accounts, control, tax and treasury issues.
- Since 2001, Robert has held a number of consultancy roles in technology and travel industries. Since joining Intangible Business, Robert has worked on a number of projects including the financial restructuring and brand development for a leading women’s fashion retailer, valuation of push mobile technology for a sales transaction and brand valuation for a global fashion and furniture retailer.
