William Grobel
- William graduated from Keele University with an English & Visual Art degree and spent two years working in a number of marketing roles at companies before specialising in marketing and PR at Alban Communications.
- He then joined a full service marketing agency, managing the communication strategy and implementation of a number of media brands. He set up a research division in 2002 to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, managing projects for brands including Nike, Ellesse, UIP, Wrigley's, Cadbury and Emap.
- Since joining Intangible Business, William has carried out a number of global brand valuation projects for brands including Laura Ashley and Japan Tobacco. He also carried out a valuation of the RSPB brand and an evaluation of its brand and licensing opportunities and an analysis of L'Oreal's cosmetics brands. Additionally, William has worked on planning, licensing, M&A and brand strategy of a number of other brands in sectors including FMCG, fashion, retail, publishing and the charity sector.
- He holds a Professional Diploma in Marketing, a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
- In 2007, William won the Economist Award for achieving the top paper in the world for The Chartered Institute of Marketing's Strategic Marketing in Practice - the Institute's most senior qualification.
