Anglo Petroleum was a leading independent petrol retailer in the UK. It was undertaking a strategic review of how to optimise value in its retail outlets. This included a radical re consideration of the way in which the petrol retail outlets were utilised for maximum business value generation.

COI

The Central Office of Information (COI) is the Government's centre of excellence for marketing and communications. COI works with Whitehall departments and public bodies to produce information campaigns on issues that affect the lives of every citizen - from health and education to benefits, rights and welfare.

Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund

Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund employed Intangible Business to evaluate the opportunity in the US market for the application of the Diana brand in specified market sectors including fine writing, jewellery, fragrance, glassware, ornaments and personal stationery.

Japan Tobacco International

JTI commissioned Intangible Business to develop the content and analysis for its brand plans for 52 regional brands. This was to be in the context of JTI's global portfolio and across all markets. It was to be used by the company's senior executive and management in Japan and Geneva as a planning tool to allocate resource and measure performance across the group.

Lec

Lec asked Intangible Business to provide insight into the potential licensing opportunities for its brand into the small domestic appliance (SDA) market within the UK. Also requested was an evaluation of potential licensing partners and proposals, a financial valuation of the potential opportunity and an overview of the SDA market in the UK.

National Association of Realtors

NAR asked Intangible Business to evaluate the strength and value of the Realtor brand in the US and to identify opportunities for growth and realization of value. Intangible Business was asked to determine the annual financial value derived from the use of the Realtor brand to the individual member in terms of annual financial benefits and the average lifetime value of the brand to the average Realtor and the total value of the collective brand to all members.

RSPB

RSPB asked Intangible Business to evaluate and determine the optimal brand opportunity in the wild bird seed and bird care market through the application of licensing the RSPB brand. The RSPB was in the process of developing an integrated strategy to leverage the RSPB brand for the dual purpose of increasing its reach and reputation and optimising commercial returns to fund the society's objectives - an applicable royalty rate had to be found and licensing strategy evaluated.

The Glasshouse

The Glasshouse is an independent fashion chain. Its vision is to create a business valued between £5-10 million (within 3-5 years), with a view to attracting major trade investors, and building a national brand.
