Value Global Interests in Patents and IPR
Client: Jerribox
Brief
Intangible Business was instructed as single joint expert to value global interests in patents and associated intellectual property rights relating to industrial bag-in-box technology. This was required by the parties to proceedings in the High Court of Justice Chancery Division relating to claimed breaches of a licence agreement.
Approach
Intangible Business held an initial meeting with all the parties and / or their legal representatives to discuss work scope and information required in order to carry out the instructions. This included listening to and considering the parties’ submissions, and requesting and analysing further information.
Intangible Business finalised and circulated a single joint expert report, and then answered questions from the parties on the report in writing, within the timescales and budgeted costs agreed in advance.
Result
Having received the single joint expert evidence from Intangible Business, the parties settled the proceedings prior to a scheduled hearing in the High Court.
